What is LearnDari?
LearnDari is an app for learning Afghan Dari (Afghan Persian) through interactive lessons, vocabulary, real native audio, and cultural context, built especially for heritage learners who want to actually speak with family.
Which Dari do you teach?
Afghan Dari (Kabuli), not Iranian Persian. We use the words and pronunciation Afghans actually use in everyday conversation.
Do I need to read the Arabic script?
No. Our lessons are phonetic-first, so you learn to speak using phonetic spelling and audio. The Dari script is shown alongside, but you never have to read it to progress. A dedicated reading and writing track may come later.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, a 3-day free trial. You can explore the lessons and vocabulary before deciding to subscribe.
How much does it cost after the trial?
$9.99 per month, or $59.99 per year (which works out cheaper per month). Prices may vary by region.
How do I cancel?

Does my progress sync across devices?
Yes. When you're signed in, your progress and XP sync between the website and the app.
Is the audio recorded by native speakers?
Yes, our vocabulary and lessons use real Afghan voices. Where a recording isn't available yet, the app falls back to speech synthesis.
